Code of Conduct The Mission of Apto Group is to provide best practice
support services for clients with complex needs, and their carers,
in
the aged, disability and health care sectors within Victoria. We work with
a
view to offering
coordinated care and including our clients / carers
and
their direct care personnel in care planning and reviews. Staff will
endeavour to maximise the client’s independence as far
as possible.
Working with clients brings with it duties to clients,
their carers and also to the community. It may
also involve a number
of people
working cooperatively from other agencies and from
within Apto Group. Therefore
staff must recognise the significance to clients
of other programs within Apto Group and within
external agencies,
as well as
their own significance.
When determining staff behaviour, professional
and industry codes of conduct will be taken into
consideration.
